Airport limbo




In a soulless building,
We sit and wait and stare,
Looking past one another 
At walls so grey and bare.

We all wait so patiently
With glazed and vacant looks,
Some looking at their watches,
Others concentrate on books.

On rows of bright blue seating,
Children rest their weary heads,
Adults are propping up the bar,
 The others stretch their legs.

For hours we�ve just been waiting 
With nowhere else to go,
Until the plane lands to pick us up,
We all wait in airport limbo.
